We have limited openings in
pottery/ceramics, mixed media and wood.
We are still accepting entries for
metal, glass and sculpture.
All media's will close on July 20th
at midnight.
All July 20th entries will receive
notification by Aug 1st. Booth fee's will be due by Aug 15th.

Cancellation Policy: Partial refund if show is notified of your

Your PayPal receipt is notification that we have received your
entry.
Sales Tax: ARTSfest 2011 receives no commission on sales.
Each artist is responsible for the collection of NC sales tax 7.75%
Selection Process by Jury:
Artists invited to show their work are chosen by an independent jury
from the regional visual arts community.
This year all 2009 Award winners are invited to return in their
awarded category without jury for 2011 entry; however, they must
submit a completed application by July 1st, 2011. A code will be
assigned to these artists to use when applying.
Location: Grace Court, Winston-Salem, NC. Grace Court is located at
the intersection of Glade Street and West Fourth Street.
Directions: Take Business 40 East or West to the Broad Street exit.
Turn right onto Broad Street, then left at the third light onto West
Fourth Street. Continue to Glade Street.
ARTSfest 2011 Festival Terms
A) Exhibitors must set up their assigned space by 9:00 a.m. on the
day of the festival and not dismantle their spaces before 5:00 p.m.
Note: The Fifth Street entrance to Grace Court does not have steps
and may be easiest for loading and unloading. All vehicles must be
off the street by 9:00 a.m. at which time the streets will be
blocked off. Exhibitors may set up spaces beginning at 7:00 a.m. and
shall leave assigned spaces clean and, undamaged, and shall dispose
of garbage properly.
B) Exhibitors shall refrain from selling or distributing free of
charge the following items: T-shirts, food, or drink.
C) Exhibitors agree to a rain date of September 25, 2011.
D) Display booths are the complete responsibility of the Exhibitor
before, during, and after show hours. The West End ARTSfest
organizers and sponsors assume no responsibility for theft, loss, or
damage to any of the Exhibitor’s property.
E) All booths should be secure and stable in construction.
F) Exhibitors shall be sensitive to the fact that subject matter
needs to be appropriate for all ages.
G) Postcards will be available to artists who wish to mail
announcements to prospective customers. Artists are responsible for
requesting postcards.
H) Exhibitors need to supply their own display equipment. Exhibitors
are required to use a white pop-up tent/canopy fitting in a 10x10
space. If the display of your art does not fit within this frame,
please contact us. No stakes or other objects can be driven into the
ground because there is an underground sprinkler system.
Tents/canopies must be otherwise secured. No utilities will be
provided.
I) The ARTSfest committee reserves the right to inspect all spaces
to insure compliance with this agreement. Non-compliance may result
in the closing of the space. Should the space be required to close
due to non-compliance, there will be no refunds.
J) Exhibitors are asked to refrain from smoking in the booth area.
K) All work displayed must be the artist’s own work and must be for
sale. The ARTSfest committee reserves the right to exclude displays
that have been misrepresented by the artist’s application.
L) The artist must attend his or her exhibit space during the
festival.
M) Each Exhibitor is responsible for the collection of North
Carolina sales tax.
Only those applicants who submit by the June 1, 2011 are
eligible for the Cover Award. The artist chosen for this award will
have a jury selected piece of their art on all ARTSfest poster's,
postcard's, and t-shirts. The Cover Award artist is also promoted in
our
media coverage.
Your submission of the ARTSfest application indicates that you
agree and comply with the terms and conditions stated herein.
