ARTSfest 2011 will recreate highlights from the original ARTSfest celebrations and offer new ones. This September 24, regional arts event, held every two years in a premier historic neighborhood in downtown Winston-Salem, will feature artists selling art, plus live music, prizes, food, and fun for all ages.

The thousands who flocked to the ARTSfest celebrations in 2003 - 2009 were not disappointed. Regional artists put on an impressive show of their best ware and even donated handsome door prizes to fill the hearts and shopping bags of visitors. The public responded whole-heartedly. Artwork will again be juried this year and artists will be eligible for cash awards as well as the much-coveted "featured artist" award, with that artist's chosen design appearing on the posters, postcards and limited edition T-shirts for the event.
